As soon as a seemingly okay existence tosses a few boulders into the direction of one s life, we soon try to figure out if there are some preventative measures that can make whatever happen not happen again. But guess what, our legal protection and our identity rights don t mean as much to us as it should.
When illness grabs ahold of us, we expect our medical insurance to bail us out, we expect the same thing from our car and home insurance companies. I was soon prompted to research a couple of places that offers a prepaid legal service plan to people who need it. I contemplate the importance of such a service and wonder if it is sold behind a fear laced message that causes people to take advantage of it quickly. I m finding that while beneficial, a prepaid legal plan may not be everyone s cup of tea. I admit that I did need an attorney when my pops passed away to try to figure out how to bring closure to his estate and divide up a little money. I ve read that prepaid legal providers offer last will and testament preparation with complimentary updates annually.
Naturally we hit a roadblock because the old timer didn t really get around to making regular revisions to his last will and testament. Honestly, having a last will and testament drawn up is the furthest thought from my mind at any given time. Most prepaid legal service organizations insist that you get your will professionally done as soon as you join with the organization- actually they highly recommend it. I probably should get one prepared just in case because it s been reported that an astonishing seventy percent of people will pass away without leaving a will behind. I got the impression that joining a prepaid legal organization would provide you with an ally because the average person usually can t just have an attorney at the ready at all times. Even if I had to handle several legal situations at the same time like unsatisfactory work on my home, or an unjust, will preparation charge sent to collections, I would be able to have my prepaid legal law firm handle these things on my behalf. It seems like a prepaid legal service plan provider would actually allow you to have an entire law office at your disposal.
To bad I don t have a myriad of legal situations ready to engulf me. Maybe the will thing could work out for me- I don t have one but I don t really have anything to leave behind either. Not yet at least. Prepaid legal protection to me is one of those things that you probably want to get but it doesn t seem advantageous to get until some legal stuff rears its ugly head in your life. Kind of like going to the store the buy the fire extinguisher after the fire is already ablaze at your home.
